Parents & Grandparents Rights
We work with grandparents who have been cut off from contact with their grandchildren as well as with parents who feel that grandparents are unduly interfering with the raising of their children. This is often a difficult balance. Although parents have superior rights with respect to their children, compared to grandparents, there are certain situations in which the Court will order that grandparents have specific visitation times with their grandchildren.
The law governing grandparent visitations is RSA 461-A:13.
